Throughout my learning this semester, I have learned about several strategies and teaching tools that instructor can implement in their classroom.  For example, SDAIE strategies can be used to support all students (especially EL students) and cater to their unique needs. Nowadays, many physical educators believe that their lessons should solely focus on physical activity and movements. However, there are several methods that a physical educator can use in order to develop students' vocabulary and knowledge. All students should have the opportunity to learn how to write and read, no matter which class/subject they are in. African American liberator and statesman, Frederick Douglass spoke on the importance of reading and writind, and how it impacted him at a young age. Specifically, "when he clandestinely learned to read as a boy, the blinders fell away, and he could see his circumstances of bondage more clearly than ever before."
