I've learnt more indepth about specific learning needs (such as identifying executive functioning or working memory etc to work on a child with dyslexic).

There is ample of support structures in place for SEN Officers. Though we must be prudent and wise with the help we have, it is encouraging to know that there IS help.

SEN Officers are not alone. We will be guided by principles and interventions. A day in the life, is never gonna be the same as yesterday.

The tools available, are similar to that as when working with preschool pedagogical needs. Albeit differing in terms of needs, they can be transliterated for use in higher levels of learning and needs.

The students' diagnoses help us to understand them better but it is not the most important factor. We should support them based on their needs.
