GreenTech Explorers: From Recycled Pots to Healthy Harvests

As part of the GreenTech Explorers project, students investigated the relationship between sustainability, healthy living, and environmental responsibility through hands-on gardening activities.

To promote the principles of recycling and reuse, students created their own plant pots from recycled materials and planted succulents, learning how everyday waste can be transformed into something useful and beautiful. This activity encouraged creativity while raising awareness about responsible consumption and waste reduction.

Students also designed and maintained a school vegetable garden, where they planted lettuce, cabbage, and aromatic herbs. Throughout the project, they cared for the plants by watering them regularly, monitoring their growth, and learning about the conditions necessary for healthy plant development.

When the vegetables and herbs were ready for harvest, students proudly collected and tasted the produce they had grown themselves. This meaningful farm-to-table experience helped them understand the importance of healthy nutrition, sustainable food production, and caring for the environment.

Through these activities, students developed environmental awareness, teamwork, responsibility, and practical gardening skills, while discovering how small sustainable actions can contribute to a greener and healthier future.
