Augusto siempre confió en su esposa, por lo que muchos han visto en él un hombre manipulado por Livia.
 Tras la muerte de su esposo y la llegada al trono de Tiberio, Livia trató de ejercer su influencia en su hijo, pero éste desarrolló una gran inquina hacia su madre, y la apartó de cualquier toma de decisiones.

Livia consiguió elevarse sobre las limitaciones impuestas a su sexo para erigirse como una pieza fundamental en la vida política de su tiempo, hasta el punto de que si consideramos a Augusto el padre del Imperio.

The baths had rooms for changing, massage, depilation and medical use. From the changing rooms (apodyteria) one would go to the gymnasia (palaestrae) to exercise and from there to a sauna (laconica) to induce an even greater sweat. 

 
Palestra: central courtyard that will open all other rooms and you can practice physical exercises. 

 Tabernas: shops attached to the bathrooms where drinks and food are sold, which the vendors proclaimed loudly among the bathers. 

 Caldarium: hot water bath, the alveus. It was the most luminous and ornate room. In the large hot springs there were even swimming pools where you could swim. In the smaller ones, the bath was taken in the bathtub or the hot water tanks called labra. 

 
Frigidarium: room used for cold water baths. In the large hot springs the frigidarium was discovered and included among its facilities a large swimming pool where you can practice swimming (Natatio). 

 Tepidarium: warm temperature room that is prepared for the bather for hot water. 

 
Apodyterium: changing rooms. Room next to the portico of the entrance where the bathers left their clothes. A bank of accounts and a workplace. 

 Laconicum: steam bath.
