Big history is the history of basically everything. An example is we are learning about history from the beginning of humans and time but also about things like the cognitive revolution. If you were taking a US history course you would not learn about that type of history

Big History is one way of viewing history. There are different categories for viewing history and Big History is the largest one the covers topics from the Big Ban until today. Big History could be compared to a sport where you learn everything about it, rather than just learning how to play it. Historians have different ways of breaking up and organizing Big History. David Christian uses 8 thresholds to short out history and Walter Alvarez uses 4 regimes to short out Big History.

Big history is the history of our universe and everything around us. It is the history of the Big Bang and how our solar systems came to be. It is also the story of our earth itself. Big history is the history on which people agree the most. Most of the people agree on how the universe was created and everything else. Big history is kind of like the start. All other histories are based on big history. Since it is so big historians use frames to categorize things in production and distribution, networks, and community.
