The viewers/readers already know that Juliet will not like her father’s suggestion or action when she hears of it because Juliet is in love with a Montague, who is Romeo. From before and beyond the 1500’s, it was normal for parents to make an arranged marriage for their child to be married with someone they thought was best for their child; the child themself usually did not get a say in who they got to marry or not marry, which in this case that “child” is Juliet.&nbsp;</div><div><br></div>]]></description>

As the outburst of her parents dissolves, her Nurse advises her that the best thing to do is to follow her parent's wishes and marry Paris.
