I explored:
- Class Dojo: classroom management and behavior management tool. Great for our PBIS program.
- Glogster: Lets students create interactive multimedia posters. I like that they have many templates and projects that other people have done to get inspired. Could be used greatly in Language Arts, Social Studies and history subjects.
- Nearpod: Great for teachers to create classroom materials, engage students and even asses students. I like how it allows the teacher to manage the content displayed on students' ipads.

Seesaw- implemented this with my second grade students in the past few weeks. I love that students can write or record their thoughts. It has been a great way to get non-writers to share their thinking about reading and writing. Kids love to leave each other comments and we have had several talks about "appropriate comments to leave"
Poll Everywhere- I tried to explore this tool as a way to vote on a class seat. It took a while to figure out that it needed to be installed, and then once I did that it required payment for everything and it wasn't working at all. Disappointing.
Class Dojo- I tried this again after tweeting about it and hearing some new ideas about how to use it. I still am not convinced that I like it. It still feels like a digital version of the old clip charts that I hate because I feel like it doesn't help students work through their behaviors
Raz Kids- You have to pay for this, but it is worth it. Students can read individualized texts at their independent reading level. Students love to earn stars and there are a ton of books to choose from.
Epic- This is free for educators, parents pay a monthly fee. Same idea as Raz Kids, but cheaper. It also doesn't have have the data component that Raz kids has.

-I tried quite a few links that no longer exist or the name changed (like XtraNormal becoming nawmal)
-I occasionally find myself in a situation where I need to convert a file. Zamzar has one of the most extensive lists of conversions that I have seen. It also doesn't seem to pester you after you use the service.
-Stupeflix is similar to Animoto. I am most intrigued by the Interview template which would allow a student to quickly edit an interview that they did with someone into a well made creation that could be shared.
-Sploder is a simple game creation tool that I actually used a few years ago with the students to have them create a game that would teach about their topic (I forgot about its existence). It is pretty easy, and it can create some pretty addictive games.

I explored
- Nearpod - This offers great opportunity to engage and interact students in lessons. I would love to integrate this in my room and know of other teachers who regularly use this. It is great that it helps keep students engaged and accountable during the learning process.
- Socrative - I like that it has a quick option or allows you to input a formative assessment in. I also really like the idea of using it as a means of exit tickets. I always struggle with an effective way to use these, because it takes so long to review them for 150+ students.
