Early Middle Ages

• In the early middle ages I would have been a skilled castle maker. I would help make all the
rooms and buildings that would be inside the castle. Politically only a few people would
be able to work on the Kings castle, and I would be skilled in building high end rooms for
Kings. Economically I would be paid quite a bit for building a room for the king but if I was
just another builder making the castle then I would be very poor. Socially I would have been
middle class but if I worked with the King I would be well know for my work. Religiously I
would have attended church just like everyone else. Intellectually I would know how to build
rooms and things around houses. Artistically I would have displayed my creativity in my
work, and make it just how I would like it unless someone asked for something special.

High/Late Middle Ages

• In the late middle ages the people have started to move out of the castles, so everyone
would need their own place to live and if they paid me to make a house for them because I
knew how to. Politically a lot of people would want my work to get their own house, giving
me more money and power over how I could price my work. Economically I would be doing
very well because I would be one of a few people that knew how to make a house, therefore
people will pay more for my work. Religiously I would go to the Roman Church and be
Christian just like everyone else. Socially I would be well respected because I would have a
lot of money and would be seen as smart. Intellectually I would know how to make house
and other things with new materials of the time. Also I could teach when I'm older and can’t
work for even more money. Artistically I could show my ideas through my work and make
new things for the everyday person.

Byzantine Empire

• In the Byzantine Empire I would be a builder for the new house that people will want
because of the schism in the Church and castles not being used anymore. With the new
houses being build there was probably a lot of stores being built and bigger houses with the
more land available to everyone. Politically I would be getting money but not a lot of political
power because that was still ran by officials. Economically I would be doing well with the
spreading out and building of houses, churches, and stores. With the Byzantine empire was
Greek Orthodox new churches would need to be built and new places for their religion, also
I would also work on the new Hagia Sophia. My Religion would be Greek Orthodox because
of the schism of the church, and be going to church a lot. Socially I would be somewhat well
know for my work in all the new buildings that would need to be build by me because of
my intelligence in making house and structures. Intellectually I would need to know how to
make all these buildings, but I could have students to teach or and apprentice to pass down
my knowledge. Artistically I could build things that would display how I feel about subjects
and in my big and small works.

Muslim Empire

• In the Muslim Empire my career is worker or leader in making more mosques in
the rapidly expanding empire, because of all the territory that was gained in as an
empire. Politically the Islam religion is the basis for their political ways because their
laws and judgment are based off the Sharia Law. There is nothing added to that law
because we use that exactly to judge people and guide their lives. Economically I would
be middle class up to upper middle class because of the Mosques that would need to be
built to force this religion on all of the people that they conquered. Religiously I would follow
the Islam religion and follow all the new religious beliefs. Socially I would move to a lot of
cities as soon as I finish a new mosque or what is needed to be done is done. In that time of
moving from place to place I think that I would try to convert more and more people in that
time that might not believe that religion. Intellectually I would know how to built Mosques
and how to teach new people the religion that so many new people didn’t know too much
about. Also I would teach younger people how to build and all the techniques needed.
Artistically I would express my new beliefs in what I build and how I express my self with the
people I work with.

Africa

With the African trade becoming very important in now because they had just began to settle in high traffic areas of trade near rivers, I am building a lot of market areas for trade. This has helped my buisness with making it easier for new travelers and traders to come to the market place to trade goods that could have come as far away as China. Politically there is a lot of influence from Islam and other big empires to do it their way, but for now I will keep expanding the different cities that have a lot of trade. With all my work I have been getting from big companies that trade salt and gold, have hired me personally to make buildings and have been getting a great salary every year because of my involvement. I get to meet a lot of people socially because of my work and how I get to travel and meet even more people that travel all over the world wit their goods. Intellectually I know a lot about my work profession and teach lots of people how I build with my Carpentry skills. With all the different people that ask me to build them things they ask me just to build a nice market so I get to artistically make my own creations. So now I ave have a nice time in Africa and i've hear of Islam getting very big and moving through other countries I wonder what that is all about.

Renaissance

Nowadays as a carpenter it has been becoming easier to build since the Renaissance. I have been involved politically with my city because of all the new buildings and leaders ever since we have started doing more things in our community. I have been gaining a lot of money because of the need for schools and houses have been very high. This is because of the influx in students needing to learn math and science not just religious things. Even with all of the news about people breaking off into other religions I have stayed true with Catholic and haven't changed. Now I have made a lot of new business associates with all the work that has been around, and I have got a reputation socially as a great Carpenter

As all the talk about the Americas has raged I went on a boat to see all the hype of this, and want a new future for me and my family. Politically I have gone above and beyond and have helped my new town building new houses and starting a new life with my skills. Economically I have had great success with all the new land and resources in the Americas, I can work like I've never worked before. Even though I have moved to a whole different continent I still have kept my religion with all the others that came along. With the small towns that have come with new travelers I have still kept my friends close and have tried to help as many people as possible in my area

Things here in England have been getting a lot weirder than I thought

was possible, and people have done things I could never do. Politically

I have done my part thinking about how to fix things but never could

get around to it, but some people like Voltaire have been challanging the

government a lot more than anyone I know. Economically I have been

having doing just fine but not too great because of all the people moving

to the Americas and carpenters aren't used as much. Religiously I have

kept up with the Church and stayed Catholic even with more and more

people changing. Socially, my family has stayed in England but most people

have either thought about it or have made plans to leave.
