Skipping pre-class readings is a common phenomenon by students; since this methodology heavily relies on out-of-class work (watching videos, reading); skipping this could pose extra burden on facilitator in the form of repeating the same content in F2F interaction; which could defy the purpose of F2F session altogether.
This might or will require getting used to by students

Although this pedagogical approach looks interesting and meaningful for students. One of the biggest problem which I anticipate is that students might not consider utilizing their time effectively during out of class with this model. What check we can keep to ensure that the online resources are being utilized productively by students. Sparing time and resources in shifting from traditional class model to student centered (except group discussions which are usually carried out) requires lot of planning.

The use of technology is gaining speed and that flipped learning provides a great way to truly personalize students' learning. However, I think
universities may face technical difficulties when adopting flipped classroom approach. The technical difficulties may include inability to demonstrate all concepts in a single video, inadequate technical support for developing such videos, ensuring students’ access to technology and internet, additional costs for using new tools and technology, etc. Failing to address these challenges can limit the success of flipped classroom approach.

In my teaching experience, I have seen that students always miss the pre-readings which they are supposed to do before they come to the session. Those pre-readings have more or less the same purpose as the flipped classroom. We try in many ways to make sure they read before they come, for instance taking a quiz, asking them randomly to present/ discuss what was in the reading material, giving marks etc.
I'm sure there are ways to make sure the students do the NF2F part.
Also as faculty, we need time, resources and expertise to develop the F2F material appropriately.
Looks interesting and exciting!!

This is certainly an interesting approach. To be successful though it will need commitment/discipline on the part of students to adequately engage with out-of-class material and for the instructors (most of whom will not have any experience with this pedagogy as students or teachers) to have resources, time, technical assistance, and feedback in using the method effectively.

This approach looks beneficial as it allows students to learn at their own pace and is student centered. To me, the greatest challenge while adapting this approach is that the it tends to delegate a lot of responsibility to learners/ students. You rely on student to be diligent about, for instance, watching prescribed videos or reviewing important materials before each face-to-face interaction. as far as my experience, student usually don't utilize their preparation time in a correct way in our culture, so what could be the possible way to make them utilized this approach effectively.
