The ninth commandment is about not doing or desiring other peoples "wife." It shows that we should keep our vows and . It shows that we should not do bad things to our neighbor or try to steal from them or envy them. If we do so, we are breaking the wedding vows that people make and that we have promised. It not only shows that we disrespect our neighbor and his wife, but also, we are disrespecting God by not following him. As I have stated before, it isn't good. It is a sin. It shows betrayal to thy neighbor.

The 9th commandment means to be responsible in doing things that require maturity because when you just do whatever you want without rules. Just because everybody is doing it doesn't mean that it is right. We have to respect each others privacy and their personal life. You also have to know them inside( what they are feeling) and you should not be jealous of what they have like their wife, car or other things. You should not envy them for what they have and instead, be contented for what you have. You should never bash them/harm them.

To commit adultery is basically what people nowadays call "cheating" which is basically to take someone who is already in a relationship and take them as your own. The commandment tells us to NOT do it and respect the decision of others.

You will not commit adultery if you have the virtue of Love. You also Love God when you follow the Commandments because it is a life long commitment with God(a.k.a. covenant).

The 9th Commandment teaches us the Christian virtues of respect and commitment. Respect is taught when you are to respect the vows that you and your wife/husband, along with your neighbor and his/her wife/husband's vows. The vows shows the true love commitment that you and your wife/husband have made with each other. The virtue of commitment is taught when the married couple respects the vow they have created and commits to keep it eternally active as true love never ends and is reserved for only well, your true love. If you want to have another person's wife/husband instead of your own, you are breaking the vows you have made as a married couple and the strong bond between you both is broken, but it is not necessarily destroyed so you can remake the vows just as long as you can keep the vows.

The 9th commandment teaches us the values of respect and commitment. It teaches us respect because we need to respect the vows that your neighbour and her husband made when they were married. It shows that you respect the vow they made to show their true love for each other. And besides that, you show that you are committed to the wedding vows that you made yourself, as it proves that you love your husband or wife to an extent that this amount of love is reserved only for her.
