About 1.3 billion people call Africa their home. Africa also has 16% of the world's population. It has the Atlantic ocean in the west, the Mediterranean on the north, the red sea to the east and the Indian ocean to the south. Africa is almost cut into 2 by the equator. Most of Africa lies within the tropical region. Africa has an interesting mix of landforms like India. It has the Sahara to the northwest ,the African savannah in the middle of the continent, mountainous regions at Maghrib, the Hajjar mountains in the Sahara, the southeast has the Ethiopian plateau and at the end of Africa is that Dranksberg range, but the most interesting feature about Africa is the Great African Rift. The rift  begins at the northeast of the continent  and extends southward from the Ethiopian Red Sea coast to the Zambezi River Basin. Africa has a few island too, like the Madagascar and Seychelles.
I like Africa for many reason. I like the vast savannah with extreme climate and interesting wild animal, including some of my favorites, lions and giraffes. Another thing I like about Africa is the majestic mount Kilimanjaro at Tanzania. Africa has a great array of cultures ,customs and people which makes it an exciting and diverse place to visit, and as rightly said by Brian Jackman, "Africa changes you forever, like nowhere on earth. once you have been there, you'll never be the same." , I wish to visit this great continent and experience its splendor.
