I think that article 2 is important because it ensures that every individual is entitled to all the rights and freedoms stated in the UDHR, without distinction of any kind, such as race, gender, religion, language, political opinion, or social status.

Article 19-Freedom of opinion and expression

I think that Article 19 of UDHR is important because i belive that everyone has to right to express that they are feeling and thinking.I think this is important because if someone doesn't express what they are feeling because they are scared of what others will think, they will likely keep to themselves and this may cause mental damage as they will think they cannot open up to anyway about their problems.I also think freedom of expression is important because I belive in honesty.I belive that instead of sugercoating something for someone to hear just so they are going to be happy,we should be honest and truthful, not to hurt the other party, but so they can reflect of their mistakes and they can improve and learn on how to not do this again.I also belive that everyone should be able to voice out their thoughts without worry of being overshowed by someone of higher status, just because they are of higher status it does not mean you should stay silent and keep your opinions to yourself.I also belive that students of lower grade should not have to be worried of what they say to students of higher grade than them,I think that we should all be comfortable with talking to someone of higher grade.I also think that we should be comfortable with saying something to someone of a higher rank that you,for example a year 6 student should not be afraid of another year 6 student that is a prefect or is closer to a teacher of a higher ranking.

In our opinion this is one of the most important article because it creates a foundation for all articles. it establishes that all people are born free and equal in dignity and rights, regardless of nationality, gender, race, or status. Since all of us have only one life to live we all have the freedom to live it however we want. No one has the right to take our life and live it for them, things like slavery, labour , and more can basically just waste our life living for other people.

ReplyForward
