During the eighties, my father vividly remembers these groovy looking discs. Unfortunately, these were his least favorite technological advance. That was due to how expensive it was. As well as the inconvenient amount of space it took up.

My father's second least favorite technological advancement was cassette tapes. This was because of how you couldn't choose what you wanted to play right away. Plus, some of these couldn't rewind.
