Ada Lovelace was one of the very first computer programmers. She was born December 10, 1815. She was raised by her mother who insisted that she received an education. From early on Ada showed talent for numbers and language. At 17 Ada met Charles Babbage, a famous mathematician and inventor. He quickly became her mentor and even helped her attend the University of London. She published her work in English Science Journals. She wrote about coding and computer programing. She created ideas for programs we still use today. She passes away November 27, 1852, and she is still considered one of the first computer programmers to date.
