Dawn donates 2,000 bottles of soap to the activists rescueing animals in the gulf coast oil spill. Dawn is supporting wildlife organizations big and small and was a leader in campagining their TSI via T.V Comercials and Faceook.

Dawn celebrates wildlife activist volenteers in a video about all the work they do. Dawn gets aboard famous actor Ian Somerhalder for the video and event where they celebrated these volenteers and the amazing work that has been done in their active efforts in helping animals affected by oil spills and their rehabilitation. also at this event they were awarded $50M in animal medical emergency grants. ]]> 2018-04-30 19:21:04 UTC https://padlet.com/alainaleona_hayes/ufc7wl0z0sut/wish/256675712 Executive Summary alainaleona_hayes https://padlet.com/alainaleona_hayes/ufc7wl0z0sut/wish/256681681 Dawn has become a leader among popular dish wasing brands because of its activism in  wildlife concervation. although some argue that the company boasts too much about their inititives and I have to disagree. Dawn shows in every way that they are following through on their CSR and as a consumer i think it's important to show the work you're doing, not just keep quiet about it. If Dawn didnt constantly show their corperate citizenship in supporting wildlife organizations (ie.the International Bird Rescue and Research Center and the Marine Mammal Center)  i may have not reached for their product first on the shelf. 

Not only does Dawn support big organizations working with big oil spills but they also support small oil spills and wildlife endangerment around the world. they surprisingly publizise less than half of their initives. Dawn should continue it's initives with supporting wildlife activists with their soap and raising money and awareness. Dawns line is "dawn helps save wildlife" which is true to an extent. But there is still so much bad that Dawn contributes to the enviroment that negatively affects wildlife like their plastic bottles that fill landfills and negatively affects animals habitats. Leading me to suggest if Dawn wants to really 'save wildlife' they should do it in all corners of their company like making their bottles from recycled products or making refill bottles.
2. Dawn works against the polution of oil spills in supporting activists with financial support and donations but dosent take under consideration that the chemicals they use that can damage the enviroment and affect ecosystems. i encourage Dawn to become a completely animal friendly company and 'help the wildlife' by finding new friendlier ways to do so.
3. Dawns CSR is authentic but is also used very heavily in their promotions. These promos give off the impresion that Dawn does more than they actually do. though their donations are appreciated their advertising give off the impression that they fully support these organizations efforts and that they are on the ground actively helping when these disasters happen, which is untrue.
