  • What do you know about the candidates?
    • Right now is trump the current president and i thing that he is an idiot. When he was selected to be the president back in 2016 he said so many dumb things. He wanted to build a wall between mexico and america. He has been in a cold war with china for a long time now. He closed down the american market for the chinese and since then they have been in a market war. 

    Joe Biden is the Democratic Candidate it is the first time he has been in the final rounds of The presidential election, his policy is very anti trump whatever Trump does you can count on Biden to do the opposite, His Nickname is Sleepy Joe due to his old age and he is known to be slightly forgetful.

    • Right now, Donald Trump is the president in USA.  
    On the 3rd of November 2020 there is election in USA and the population has to vote for a new president. 
    They have to choose if it is going to be Donald Trump or Joe Biden that will be USA´s president for the next 4 years. 
    Donald Trump is the republican candidate and Joe Biden is the democratic candidate. 
    Donald Trump would like to build a wall between USA and Mexico.

    The system in USA is that you vote for a candidate and not so much for the party as we know in Denmark. 
    There are red states and blue states.  
    Some of the state's votes count for more than other votes/states. At the last presidential election Donald Trump won even though he did not get more votes than Hillary Clinton. That is because of the very complicated voting system between the states in USA. 
    The candidate that get more than half of the votes wins the election.

Biden is a moderate conservative who served as vicepresident under the Obama Administration. His politics mostly consists of not agreeing with the current predident.
    -The current Repuplican president is Donald John Trump. Trump is an extreamly christian conservative candidate. His campaign is based on "law and order". the politics he got elected for were building a wall on the Mexican border and undoing most of the programs Obama got implemented. Most of his trusted sources consists of conspiracy theorists. 
    -The American election system has been criticized in most of the western world. terms are 4 years long and a president can serve two terms. In the US you can not vote before you have been registered to vote. The votes are counted in each state and mandates from those states are given to each candidate. some mandates are not distributed acording to how the people have voted. The system has also been crircized for limiting how many people can register each day which is a problem for democrats living in major cities and the government has been acused of using "gerrymandering".
    - There are only two political parties in the US. The Democratic party and the Rupublican party.
