Akram khan started dancing at a younger age than Martha Graham and most of his movement was inspired by the free movement that the body could adapt to when music comes on. He trained at the Northern Contemporary School and that's where he developed most of his training.

Martha Graham has left a legacy still to this day people are learning about her and recreating her techniques. Akram khan hasn't left a legacy as he is still fairly new although I believe in the next century people will still be learning about him although he wont have the legacy that Martha Graham has.
