Ed Puzzle is one of if not my favorite platform to use. I use a lot of videos that I have made in the past of myself teaching or a great resource is Nihn Explains for each individual sport. It is a great way for kids to watch a video and, while they are watching, answer questions. They can rewatch the last portion to help them remember if they cannot remember. My students really enjoy interacting with this platform, and I see a lot of positive interactions and answers when using Edpuzzle. For my EL and IEP students, their EL Coordinator and Resource teacher have access. They can slow the videos down, and they have multiple attempts to go through the lesson to get as high a grade as they want. These students specifically benefit from being able to rewatch and slow down the video so they can take notes to use Closed Captioning.

Pear Deck

I use Pear Deck to check in real time what my students are doing and see where their progress is. If I see multiple students stuck at the same place, it is a great way for me to stop the lesson and check for understanding to reach the concept and ensure no one is left behind. Additionally, I can adjust preferences for each student depending on their needs. Id My IEP students have reduced questions, so I can make sure to adjust the number of questions or the type of questions. My Resource Teacher and EL Coordinator have access to Pear Deck ahead of time so they can frontload our students with the vocabulary ahead of time.

Kahoot

I use Kahoot weekly in my class to help me formatively assess my students while making it a fun game. After we are done with the Kahoot, students are invited to use this as a resource to study for their summative assessment. They have different ways they can study, like matching flash cards and a bunch of other ways for them to have fun and study simultaneously. Students who are EL and IEP can use these as a way to study. The EL Coordinator and Special Education teacher also have access to this platform. The can help students study and make flash cards for them to use at different times and their note card for my tests and Quizzes
