The book have nineteen stories of Apocalypse and Dystopia. The stories in the book disaster of any kind: political, ecological, technological, and sociological. After is an anthology of 19 post-apocalypse and Dystopia short stories, many written by well-known YA authors. While it's not uncommon for stories to vary in quality in such a collection After in particular had a quite smattering of both really great stories and boring or illogical stories. While there were some great post-apocalyptic stories in After, most of them were rather uninspired. There are several stories in After worth reading, but not enough that to just buying the complete collection.

I like book After because it has a bunch of different Dystopian stories. Also, I like the stories in the book it's including most YA publishers, dyslit is a broad, inclusive genre of tales that take placein darkly imagined futures; ranging from stories that explore the danger of repressive Government and societies gone bad to books whose plots unfold in bleak, savage, or oppressive post-apocalypse settings.

The most Interesting story for me until now is "After The Cure" by Carrie Ryan. The summary of the story about the girl or the main character in the story is when the girl woke up in the dark after healing. The Plague or the Zombie Virus “it’s the real darkness, which kills the infected people and the lack of remembering everything that had lived before. The girl did not mingle what she lived before after taking the treatment of this epidemic once you heal you can not deny how life was before you get infected, but sometimes you will see in the imagination or some pieces and pieces come back to you. After the infected of this disease or the epidemic, you cannot be affected again, and when some monsters see you they will leave you alone.

The book reminds me a lot of Dystopian movies. Like, Train to Busan, World War Z, Interstellar, The Matrix, and Day Of The Dead: Bloodline. This all a good movies connected to the stories in the book.

"I am the Elder. Not their Elder, of course: I will be Elder for the future generation of children born, and I will rule them."
Page: 109
These quotes from the story "The Other Elder" It's interesting because the main character he says he wants to be the Elder one day, and he's become the Elder at the end of the story after he respected the Rules on the Godspeed.

"The soldiers know who lived in each house, how many children there were. To have even one child means death to everyone in the family."
Page: 154
These quotes from the story "Reunion" This quotes it's interesting for me because the soldiers in the village they go every day to each house and they know who lived in each house and how many children there where and they take the children sometimes they killed them another time they sent the children to a death camp, and the rules were different each day.

Page: 65
These quotes from the story "Visiting Nelson" this quote it's interesting because In the future, there's a drug that turns everyone who takes it over long periods of time into a harry beasts. There's something about visiting someone to get information. The drug turning into hairy beast seemed a bit too eye-roll worthy. It's where the North London drug barons live in big houses-palaces, like-all ringed with steel security fences and guard dogs and armed patrols.

I will recommend this book for the reader who likes science fiction, fantasy, and horror. The stories in the book anthologies for adults, teenagers, and children. In the stories before they going to put any future, they going to put us in dangerous territory; for blistering arguments about what should and shouldn't be labeled Dystopian fiction have consumed whole. Internet forums, convention panels, and book review columns.
