Beginning by clearly defining the agenda of the lesson.First understanding where students are in reference to the the concept being taught.writing the criteria for the task and modelled it  on the white board ( by eliciting it from them)
Then giving them the task.
Keep close watch for the weak ones by reading what they have done and facilitating them.Engaging students who have finished their task to help one of the weak students.
