Symbiosis is when one animal does something using another animal, this can be three different types, Parasitism, Mutualism, and commensaluism. In parasitism, sadly a more common form of symbiosis, one of the animal, say a flea, is happy, it just hooked a ride on a dog in the park, the dog is the flea's host, while the flea is the parasite. The flea is happy, it is getting a nice meal from the sad dog, poor dog, it's loosing blood, this would be a diagram to show this +/- the flea is the plus, happy, and the dog is the minus, sad. Now on a happier note, commensalism where one animal or plant, how about a vine, takes advantage of a say, a tree, the vine is growing on the tree to get some delicious sunlight to make it's sugar called glucose, which it eats to have energy, and since the vine isn't sucking the tree of its nutrients, choking the tree's roots, or covering the tree's leaves, the tree doesn't mind. A diagram for this would be +/o the plus is the vine, it is happy because it now has delicious food made from sunlight, the tree isn't effected at all, it just has a friend, that is it would if tree's had a brain complex enough to understand friendship, or you know, a brain at all, same thing with vines. Finally the happiest note will be the end of the musical! Yes i listen to classical music don't judge me. Anyway, mutualism is when two animals do something for each other, and both benefit, an example would be a clownfish and an anenome, the clownfish protects the anenome from would be predators, in return the anenome grants the clownfish a home in the reef, and the anenome doesn't sting the clownfish. A diagram of this would be +/+ the clown fish is happy, and so is the anenome, both plus! Sybiosis isn't that hard to understand, just look, only three types to remember, I have typed so much by the end of this you might be one hundred years old. I'm truly sorry for this Mr. Legats I truly am. Anyway, I'm done, hope anyone learned something! Now I am done because my fellow classmates keep saying it'll take hundreds of thousands of years reading this, bye!
Book by: Preston Paisley
I have calculated that this essay is 43,442 miles long (bigger than Jupiter!)

Parisatism is the relationship between 2 organisms that one organism is harmed and the other organism is benefited.
Symbiosis is a relationship between 2 animals in the environment. One type of symbiosis is parasitism, parasitism is where one animal benefits and then other is harmed. An example would be ticks, ticks feed off the host witch is usually a dog and the dog (host) is harmed. Some other examples are tapeworms and ticks ticks feed off there host and tapeworms live inside animals and eat the food that the animal digests.Another type of symbiosis is mutualisem. Examples of mutualismis a bee and a flower both benefit each other. Also an Egyptian clover eating the parasites off of a crocodile, and a bird with a zebra. The last type is commercialism. Examples include a flower climbing a tree, and a bird building its nest in a tree. Those are the types of symbiosis and ect.

I have calculated that this essay is 43,442 miles long (bigger than Jupiter!)

their are three types of symbiosis and they are mutualism / commensilisam , and parasitism. i also learned that tape worms ,fleas and ticks are parasitism.i learned that commensalism and muatualism are benifiting the tree and the birds home.the fleas on the dog is partism.i also learned that the flowers on a tree are beniffiting the tree and the flower to get the flower light to grow . this is what i learned in class today about symbiosis.

Delanie- Symbiosis is when two organisms in a community either harm one another or help one another. There is parasitism, mutualism, and commensalism. Parasitism is when one organism is benefited and one is harmed. Like tapeworms in a dog. Mutualism is when both organisms are benefited. Like a bird on an alligator. Commensalism is when one organism is benefited and the other one has no effect.Like flowers growing on a tree
