Patient is a 32-year old female who had a MVA 2 months ago.

PLOF: Patient was an IT Specialist working 8 hours a day in an office in Downtown Miami. On her free time she would play recreational basketball with co-workers and take care of her 10 year old child.

CLOF: Patient presents with trunk weakness and difficulty rolling to edge of bed to wheelchair. She is fully functioning from the level of injury up.

Environment Factors: Patient lives in a single-story apartment on the 10th floor in Downtown Miami. She has access to the elevator and metros to transport to work. Her husband lives with her and is able to care for her and their child.

Personal Factors: Her husband has a full time job and is not always able to bring their kid to football practice. She still wants to be active in some way to keep up her physical fitness.

Due to patient's Neurological Level of Injury and ASIA C classification, we are a prescribing an ultralight manual wheelchair with rigid frame.

Rationale: due to the patient's neurological level of injury and ASIA C classification a lightweight manual wheelchair is most appropriate. The rojo cushion is best for pressure relief for this patient. The rigid frame allows the patient to adapt to her active lifestyle by being light weight and able to fit in her car. The low back rest allows for more mobility around a busy city with help of the pneumatic wheel to navigate the changing terrain of the city.
