The movie was produced by a collaboration between some producers including Leonardo di Caprio.
"Before the flood" captures    the different conversations between di Caprio and scientist , officials and locals who experience with global warming. From Greenland to China to Kiribati, he is surrogate into example of climate change, and then the translator for ideas that are always shoking but never entirely new.
Leonardo in the film meets famous people like president Obama, Pope Francis. In the film Leonardo turned in the world and he them to transmit information, a show incinerated forests of Indonesia or the polluted streets of Beijing. In fact in the first time Leonardo say that he will put the whole to find the solutions to the global warming problem.
For di Caprio this film also serves to invite the world press, organizations and industrials  to inquire and change. The  film tries  to move towards a conscious consumption towards every single object we buy. Showing the effects of global warming on populations living near the oceans, the documentary reminds us that the worsening of mass migration.
