         <description><![CDATA[<p>To reflect on this assignment I have used Gibbs reflective cycle</p><p><br/></p><p><strong>Description:</strong> I recently completed a group assignment where we had to analyse a brand (Private White V.C) and create a marketing strategy using the SOSTAC model on how the brand can achieve greater brand awareness and recognition. The assignment required working well in groups and having excellent communication skills. I was apart of a three-person group and took responsibility for completing the strategy and the tactics.</p><p><br/></p><p><strong>Feelings:</strong> I felt a bit overwhelmed as this was a real brand and the assignment would be seen by the CEO so it already felt like there was even more pressure to perform well. At the time I felt weary because I prefer to work alone to it was daunting knowing my only option was the work as a group with people I hadn't spoken to before as I didn't enjoy working in a group last year. </p><p><br/></p><p><strong>Evaluation:</strong> Upon completing the assignment, I realised that it wasn't scary working as a group however I learned that there needs to be constant communication within the group.  My group was good at this and all provided quality work and we all agreed on what tasks we wanted to complete. I learned that I should participate in seminars and presentations in front of the seminar group, even though it feels scary because as a group we did not attend the group presentation. This is because I could've gained valuable feedback and worked on my fear of public speaking, which would be useful for future jobs and future interviews. It would've helped me to develop a better understanding of the material. Time management was a challenge for me and I learned that I should start specific tasks earlier to alleviate stress, but as a group everyone got their tasks done on time.</p><p><br/></p><p><strong>Analysis:</strong> I identified that my time management skills need more improvement. I need to start projects sooner and improve my time keeping skills as this is a crucial skill to have within the fashion industry. Also, I should attend the presentation because it is an opportunity for much-needed valuable feedback. The group assignment was able to be successful as group members kept everyone updated about where they were up to and if they had to miss a session so that we could catch up efficiently. </p><p><br/></p><p><strong>Conclusion:</strong> Overall, the assignment was valuable and because it was a group project it improved my teamwork skills at working as a team and how to communicate when it can feel difficult at times. In the future, I would make sure that in a group setting, we are organised from the beginning to eliminate any chance of confusion and to make it easier. </p><p><br/></p><p><strong>Action Plan:</strong> My next steps are to plan to start assignments earlier, allowing more time for research and reflection otherwise I will get too overwhelmed and don't work to the best of my ability. I'll engage better with my peers for collaborative learning and I aim to enhance both my time management skills and overall my performance by creating lists of what exactly needs to be done and when so that i can start with plenty of time in advance.</p>]]></description>
