the constattutional convention was made during the revoulatonary war they had 2 meetings the 1st one was to decide weather to go to war with brittan or stay a part of brittan their 2nd meeting was to change their orignal constatution aka the A of C this one gave the fedral gov. very little power because of the fear that someone is gonna misuse the power like the king unfortanatly this constatution did not work infact it caused many colonists to be angry including the farmers who fought in the a=war because they cannot pay of their det they were being imprisoned this caused shays rebbellion this rebellion caused the gov. to completly change the constatution for example for people in the south 3 out of every 5 slaves are counted for population but for the 2 slaves that r not must be taxed
