My name is Christopher Bolaños, and I am an independent technology developer from Costa Rica, founder of AirDev Costa Rica. I am writing to express my interest to participate in the International Trade Fair from IEEE 2022.

 

 Firstly, with more than 10 years of experience and a master degree in Electrical Engineering  from the Massachusetts Technology Institute, I have developed many solutions before for tech corporations like Cisco and General Electric, including wireless network deployment and devices implementations. That background has helped in the development of the wireless poles, a project to bring internet access to IoT devices and general public by a mesh network using the electricity grid poles.

Secondly, the mesh networks have been in use for decades and that technology can be used in long-fi devices to bring internet and IoT connections to cities. Attached is a technical sheet that explains all the details of the project. 

Thirdly, participation in the fair could bring some attention to this project and increase the number of possible developing partners and customers. By this way, improving the connectivity in cities with cheaper technology (compared to deploying wired connections) will reduce access cost. Additionally, it will allow connectivity access to more people and visibility to brands that could put ads in the project  as a retribution for sponsoring the development. 


In conclusion, participation in the fair will help the company to increase the visibility and customer portfolio to bring a useful and profitable project.
