    • Definition: Greenhouse gas, any gas that has the property of absorbing infrared radiation (net heat energy) emitted from Earth's surface and reradiating it back to Earth's surface, thus contributing to the greenhouse effect. Biochar: Biochar Is the charcoal you get from slowly baking Biomass this is better than other charcoals because it is actually a sink for CO2
    2. Oxygen: Biochar has to be baked slowly WITH oxygen because fire needs oxygen to keep going, so if you're going to make biochar you will need a constant supply of oxygen.
    3. Reduce: When Biomass is baked we won't produce CO2 because it will trap CO2 molecules inside of it.
    4. Enrich: Biochar Slowly releases fertilizer when buried under soil, it also helps prevent fertilizer drainage. Biochar also helps with less reduction of crops during dry season, it also helps with odour control. Burying Biochar under crops is called pyrolysis.

    Polluting is the act of "contaminating (water, air, or a place) with harmful or poisonous substances", according to Google, and is one of the main difficulties that the clothing industry causes through a multitude of ways including material production, crop burning, manufacturing, and many more practices.
    "Industry requires the use of energy-hungry machines, furnaces, and boilers, and often employs polluting processes."
    2. Plastics
    Google says that plastic is "a synthetic material made from a wide range of organic polymers such as polyethylene, PVC, nylon, etc., that can be molded into shape while soft and then set into a rigid or slightly elastic form." One place plastics are often not expected to be in is our clothing. Polyester and faux fur often let threads of plastic loose into the world, and it's estimated that for every ounce of plastic, an ounce of C02 is released into the air. "Aluminum, fertilizers, paper, plastics, processed foods, textiles, and waste pile up the problem."
    3. Resources
    My definition for resources is that they are the available assets and sources for them. Google says that they are "a stock or supply of money, materials, staff, and other assets that can be drawn on by a person or organization in order to function effectively." This applies to the clothing industry because each garment uses resources, and lots of them, that could be used for better purposes.
    4. Emissions
    Google states that emissions are "the production and discharge of something, especially gas or radiation." In our case, emissions are the greenhouse gasses that industry releases into the atmosphere. "Many of its emissions happen on-site—at a plant or factory, for example—making industry directly responsible for 21% of all heat-trapping emissions."
    5. Clothing
    As you may have guessed right now, my focus will be on the clothing part of the industry sector. Clothing is "clothes collectively." to Google, but I describe it as the garments you wear, hold, or in some way use for fashion, covering, or a similar purpose. "From concrete to computers, cars to clothing, industry is the sector of production that makes them all."
