The proposed didactic unit is designed for B1-B2 (CEFR) level students aged between 14 and 18 years, with the primary goal of developing essential writing and oral expression skills using key scenes from the classic play Romeo and Juliet as a foundation. Through dynamic and participatory activities, students will analyze, interpret, and recreate elements of the play, enhancing their ability to communicate effectively in both written and spoken forms.

Lesson 4 focuses on writing, aiming for students to craft essays that analyze the emotions and themes present in a specific scene, demonstrating clarity and effectiveness in their texts. Through exercises such as writing alternative dialogues, character descriptions, and summaries, students will work on vocabulary related to emotions, conflicts, and family relationships while applying grammatical structures such as conditionals, comparative and superlative adjectives, and past verb tenses.

On the other hand, Lesson 5 emphasizes oral expression, promoting the appropriate use of pronunciation, intonation, and dialogue interpretation in specific contexts. Students will practice in pairs or small groups, receive personalized feedback, and be assessed using rubrics that evaluate their ability to communicate ideas and portray characters coherently.

This didactic unit seeks not only to strengthen students' linguistic competencies but also to foster their creativity and critical analysis skills
