Why its important?

This moto is important to me because it highlights a principle of a personal and professional growth, it discuss that even the idea of failure is not an end point but it is the beginning of the journey to success. Moreover, I encourage myself by this quote and see failure as an opportunity to learn and grow, and each failure builds a strong person and grows the desire to develop him/her self.

Dr. Rafia Ghubash have traits that I look over and wish to develop myself such as participative leadership, I want to develop myself on making decision through consulting others in my area. However, another trait is leader spirit, Dr. Rafia is known of her actions in developing the education sector and encouraging women, I am learning on her actions and beliefs and develop myself through studying her successful journey and identifying the actions and behaviors she shows.

Participative Leadership - Dr. Rafia Ghubash developed forums and councils where students could express their views and make choices impacting their education and campus life. This method empowered students and ensured that their needs and concerns were met.

Moral Leadership - Dr. Rafia Ghubash is well known for her good work and this reflected on people and her with positive impact. In addition, she cared for women and advocate for women right and empowerment in the UAE and the Arab world. Dr. Rafia promotes the moral ideal of equality, working to raise the standard and empower women in society.

• Integrity means being truthful and having strong moral values. Leaders with integrity inspire trust and set a good example for their teams.

Example from my experience:

• Talking back about my previous experiences in Teaching Practicum, in the first day of the training period I arranged a meeting with my MST and was honest with her. As I discussed with her the tasks and observations that was needed throughout my training period.

• Empathy is the ability to understand and express the emotions of others. Thus, it creates a supportive environment where my family and friends feel valued and understood.

Example from my experience:

• My experience took a place at my home, specifically with my family. If my parents or siblings go through a problem or a phase I set with them and give them the chance to talk freely and express their feelings without disturbance from my side, then comfort them.

• Vision means having a clear idea of what is wanted to be achieved and can be communicated with people to inspire them.

Example from my experience:

• Personally, I have a vision of my own where I write down my goals and the things I want to achieve by every year, this will help me focus on achieving them, and work hard for them.

Some of my goals that I want to achieve:

1. Graduate from HCT with high GPA.

2. Looking for a job that suits my skills.

3. Being a supportive teacher.

4. Build a positive generation.

5. Be supportive to children and succeed them.

• Ability to adjust to new conditions or changes, this means being flexible and open to new ideas.

Example from my experience:

• An example from my experience would be when KG schools changed their curriculum to Smiles, I sat with my MST and discussed the new curriculum and adjusted my self and the lesson plans I created regarding the new curriculum.

• It is the ability to inspire and boost others, resulting in a pleasant and productive corporate atmosphere.

Example from my experience:

• An example from my own experience is at the training period, the other trainees in the same school I was in seemed to have a difficulty planning for a lesson, what I did was I arranged a meeting for the students and explained the components of a lesson plan with the things needed to be applied into it. This gave them a boost of confidence and the motive to prepare a perfect lesson.
