They live in an extremly cold climate. Some Sámi people go to a university to learn how to care for their animals e.g. reindeer. They wear reindeer furs and eat reindeer meat. A Sámi house is called a gamme. The Sámi belifs are that gods live in an "upper world", the humans inhabit a "middle world" and the "underworld" is home to marine creatures such as otters and seals.
