Theme: Live your life to the fullest.

The conflict affects the characters the most (mainly Hazel) because she could die soon and she wants to adventure.

It seems really hard when I’m reading this book because she goes through so much.
Some things I felt for Hazel is how hard it would be to get so many surgeries and have had to go to the hospital so much and have your loved ones watch you be sick and get sad.
I also felt she has to carry and use an oxygen tank with her everywhere she goes and she can’t really take it off. That wouldn’t be fun.

I have never had stage 4 cancer before, that is a huge part of Hazel’s life in this story. I’ve never had to go to the hospital either for anything except for being born. I am looking into her life and what problems this causes for her.

Hazel has a lot of friends and family which I guess I can sort of relate to because I have some friends and family…

Hazel is very smart and intelligent. She always talks with fancy words and is descriptive. She is super smart and knows a lot of stuff. I am not as smart as Hazel for sure so it is pretty cool to see how its like I guess.
