Alan Guth is known for his work on the elementary particle theory andhow the particle theory is relevant to the early universe, and particularly for the idea, which he developed around 1908 in Kansas called the cosmic inflation.Which is a theory of exponential expansion of space in the early universe.Following the inflationary period, the universe continues to expand but at a less rapid rate

cosmic inflation is a theory of the expansion of space in the early universe. It says that a universe expands exponentially. It discusses and theorizes on the begins of our cosmos. There are scientists that argue against the theory that the beginnings of our cosmos went through rapid expansion called inflation. They say that our universe did not begin with a bang but with a "bounce"from an order of existing Cosmo. It is understood by all scientist that cosmic inflation cannot be evaluated using the scientific method. If they change the course of energy, tensity,or the initial conditions, the result of inflation can easily be changed.
