As seen in countries like Canada that has the expectancy of 80 + years. And in Brazil the expectancy is 75 years old. There are a few anomalies; french Guiana, Suriname, Paraguay, Bolivia and Peru which are all at around 60 years. In Africa the life expectancy ranges from -50 in place like south Africa to 50+ years in places like Madagascar and Cameroon.

The map shows the average life expectancy of every country’s population, it is measured in years. Most of Africa is in the -50 and 50 to 60 range for life expectancy. Australia and North America have an average life expectancy of 75 and above they are the two countries/continents that show such a high life expectancy. Russia has a life expectancy of 60, whereas in China and Afghanistan they have a higher (China) and lower (Afghanistan). China has an average life expectancy of 70-80 whereas Afghanistan has an average life expectancy of minus 50. There are also countries in Africa that do not adhere to the general pattern and these countries are Algeria, Libya and Egypt. They tend to have a higher life expectancy than the rest of the continent. In South America there is a wide variation in life expectancy.

The life expectancy in the world is very different in different countries. One can see that Africa contains countries with the lowest life expectancy. For example, the Democratic Republic of the Congo in Africa has a life expectancy of 45-50 years. This country plus four other countries in Africa have the lowest life expectancy of 45-50 years in the whole world. The five countries are, the Democratic Republic of the Congo, Guinea-Bissau, Sierra Leone, Somalia, Central African Republic, and some of South Africa. However, the rest of the world have a higher life expectancy, Europe is especially really high. Countries like the Netherlands and Germany have a life expectancy of 80-82.5 years and there are even some parts of Spain and Italy that have a life expectancy of 82.5-85 years. Most of Asia has a life expectancy around 65-70 years while only China has a life expectancy of 80-82.5. This is an example of an anomaly.

the graph shown below can be described as the status of the life expectancy of the countries. The general pattern of the graph is irregular. Especially Libya has a life expectancy of 80+ which are huge difference. North America has a life expectancy of 75 to 80+ generally. South America has different life expectancy with 70+, 60+ and 75+ such as Brazil, Peru and Chile. Most of the European countries have high life expectancy with 75+. Australia has a life expectancy of 80+. Asian countries have various life expectancy. for example, China has a life expectancy of 70+ while South Korea and Japan have a life expectancy of 75+. Laos and Nepal have a low expectancy with 50+.

The lowest life expectancy’s shown in the map are all in the majority of African countries with two exceptions, Afghanistan and Papua New Guinea that have a life expectancy rate of less than 60.6. The countries with the highest life expectancy are for example North America, Australia and western Europe with life expectancy rates of approximately 78.3-83.9. There is quite a constant life expectancy rate throughout the northern hemisphere however it’s a lot more distributed in the south. The western countries have an overall higher life expectancy with maximum of 83.9 in north America and minimum of 67 Guyana, however in the east the majority of countries have an overall lower life expectancy with a highest of approximately 83 in countries such as japan and Australia however a lowest of less than 60 in countries such as Somalia and south Africa.

Some African countries have the lowest life expectancy such as Niger, Chad, Nigeria, Mali, and Cameroon due to health care, access food, and access water.
