It cultivates communication and learning through senses. For example, the recognition of text to image to sound. Gestures have significant meaning, such as swipe of a finger, face recognition, fingerprints, and order buttons. Talk, gaze, direction and action are also meaningful and need more recognition. However, we also need to be aware that it has potentials to amplify silence towards those who are not ‘able-bodied’. The British Columbia Early Learning Framework (Gov. of BC, 2019) states that “Learning is holistic. People learn with the mind, body, and sprit and in a relationship with others and the environment” (p.25).
