I am most proud of the SEL Literacy workshop project so far. I felt comfortable with this project, and I was able to let my background in ELA shine in my design. I am excited to bring this workshop to teachers, too. I think it will be very beneficial to them. 

  What skill did you master?

I don't know that I have fully mastered any skill yet; I still have so much to learn, but I am much more confident in my ability to design for adult learners and various audience types than I was even 6 months ago. My PD, the Presenter's Seminar, and the projects I have been working on lately have helped me continue to refine my design skills, and I am excited about all the learning and growth I have been doing! 

  Who did you connect with that made a difference?

Sam N. has made the biggest difference in my 8 months at F5. Not only was she my onboarding buddy, but she has now become my go-to coworker. Since our roles are essentially the same, she has been great about teaching me the ropes and helping me learn all the ins and outs of our role. Her mentorship has made a huge difference in my growth and learning. 

We’ve navigated challenges, maintained LMS engagement, connected with partners through thoughtful solutions, and approached every task with optimism and skill.

This team is unstoppable. Thank you for a year filled with collaboration, creativity, and wins. Here’s to even more success in the year ahead!

A big thank you to Jen and Shaimaa for being such thoughtful partners on projects. It’s always amazing to brainstorm, problem-solve, and bring our ideas together to create something great.

The I&E team brings heart, creativity, and dedication to everything we do. I'm so grateful to be part of a team that makes me laugh and supports each other in the most uplifting ways.

The next win ... Marketing Webinars. Initially hearing that we needed to host webinars, had me in a chokehold. I had no idea as to how we would manage this. I knew that Sabrina could write the content and provide the research needed but the hosting and advertising ... then came Courtney and Jess. Courtney provided several suggestions as to how we could handle the hosting and Jess provided multiple ideas for the marketing approach. I feel extremely proud when I see the emails going out providing consumers with webinar recordings, downloadables, and future invitations for the next roundtable discussion.

There are so many things that I am proud of with my team this year but most importantly, it would be our ATTITUDES. Everyone takes on the work with such passion and dedication, that at times I am at lost for words. So thank you Courtney, Jess, Sabrina, Chris, Kayla, Morgan and GD for all that you do.

Chris has been great with getting Hubspot cleaned up and running smoothly. This is a HUGE undertaking! Kayla, thanks for all of the many things you do and the extra work you've recently taken on.

Additionally, marketing webinars have been a significant win! With each one, we’ve grown more confident in the ideation, development, and marketing process. Thanks to C&C and everyone on the Fly Five team for a great year of collaboration and growth!

The Content and Communications team has brought together our individual strengths and shared passion for storytelling. Through collaboration, we’ve become a team that not only plans ahead but also trusts one another to lead in our respective areas of expertise.

Our inbound and outbound marketing initiatives wouldn’t be possible without Anjail, Courtney, and Sabrina. Your guidance in shaping our brand voice, partnered with graphic design’s ability to bring the content to life, has fueled our growth. What we have accomplished in one year is something to be extremely proud of.

I would also like to thank Kayla and Morgan, our Marketing Interns. Your contributions do not go unnoticed. Your enthusiasm, adaptability, and willingness to lend a helping hand have strengthened our team and helped move projects forward. 

This team is full of intelligent, passionate, and creative individuals who inspire me every day to think more strategically and push the boundaries of what our marketing campaigns can achieve.

A win I am especially proud of is the ability to quickly adapt our language and work as a team to create concise, engaging, and supportive content. Countless documents and hundreds of pages later (not speaking metaphorically), we have built so many resources and tools to feel proud of. Thank you to the entire I&E team, Design and C&C!
