Reason for the War:  Helen (wife to Menelaus king of Greece) fell in love with Paris (son of the Trojan King) and went off to try. This led to Menelaus siding with Agamedon  to try and defeat Troy to win her back.

A different reason is a myth about who was the fairest goddess, after Paris picked Aphrodite, then Hera and Athena teamed up against Troy, and game up with the Trojan horse strategy.

The Trojan Horse Explained: The Trojan Horse was a military tactic to make the Trojans let down their guard, inside it was filled with soldiers. Once the Trojans brought it into their walls, the soldiers slaughtered men and took the women and children while stealing and valuables along the way.
Outcome of the War:
Great Heroes of the War: Paris (he died though), Achilles (killed by Troy), Agamedon — brother of Menelaus (was killed after the war by is wife’s lover), Menelaus (he didn’t really do much, but the Greeks won the war)
