However one of my favorite lessons at any level include the use of ink and any drawing material. Ink is dropped onto the page and the student draws contour lines around the splotches of ink making sure that the lines do not overlap, but may touch. I love how each student's work looks very different from each other depending on the line placement and how big the ink droppings are.
Another lesson I created for high school level is called found art. This was implemented at the start of COVID before materials were distrubuted to the schools. The students were to create a self-protrait using items found around the home. This required them to think about form, color, shape, space and texture.
