Privacy - user data is kept only by certain companies and not used for anything without permission;
Aesthetics - Design and functionality;
Connectivity - Being able to call or text anybody anywhere, moreover being able to surf the internet when- and where ever;
Sustainability - using the right materials and policies, some phones are 'environmetally friendly', some are quite the opposite;
Status - Certain phones might give you a different status
