Project: developing a campaign to increase awareness of violence against women.
Step 1: in groups, come up with personal examples of violence against women at school, at home, in the workplace.

The goal of the activity would be to think about at least 3 attractive jobs students would like to do once finished their secondary (next year).
Step 1: divide the class in groups of 4 and assign clear rules (quantity is important, positive feedback, etc.)
Step 2: let each group brainstorm about what a good job would be and help them to list what's good
Step 3: Let them interview some adults about what good jobs mean
Step 4: agree on at least 3 jobs and provide good and strong reasons for that
Step 5: think about the audience (their peer) and start drafting a communication plan
Step 6: present the jobs to the rest of the class, making them really attractive and desirable!

Aim: Teach about the importance of recycling and encourage recycling

Step 1: Show a video or read a book about recycling;
Step 2: Divide the pupils into small groups and ask them to brainstorm what they can recycle;
Step 3: Play a game and recycle items into appropriate boxes;
Step 4: Make recycling bins for recycling in the classroom;

Desired Learning Outcomes:
By the end of the lesson the students will be able to talk about the uniqueness, similarities and differences of two different works of art.
Step one: group discussion.
Give two different works of art to each group of students.Provide also a Venn diagram worksheet for each group. Explain that the students need to talk about each work of art. Also a student must take the role of the recorder and make brief notes about the uniqueness of both works of art.

The students need to also discuss about the commonalities between the two works of art. Then the recorder must list brief points about the commonalities in the area where the circles overlap.

Step two: ‘Show and tell’ activities.
Ask each group of students to present their findings to the rest of the class.Ask the students different questions to stimulate more talk. Ask the rest of the class if they agree with what the other groups have observed.

How to organize a photo exhibition about women's emancipation in your school.
OPERATIONAL PHASES The work is divided into four phases: planning, construction, promotion, grand opening

FIRST PHASE
Planning
- Locate within the premises of the institute where prepare the exhibition;
- Select the most significant photographs among those sent by the students;
- Evaluate the captions accompanying the photos, possibly enriching them and translating them into English;
- Assume a coherent exhibition through images choices, which may be organized in sections (career woman, the mother of the family, the loneliness of the elderly woman, etc.), and accompanied by explanatory panels;
- Prepare short texts to be entered on panels that will guide the viewer through the various sections

SECOND PHASE
preparation
- Set up the premises of the exhibition, arranging the selected photographs according to the defined path;
- Create and distribute cardboard panels to guide visitors around the path;
- Proceed with the placement of the captions and the eventual translation of the English-language captions;
- Choose adequate lighting and an optional background music;
- Create a multimedia presentation, to be projected in a special room, which documents the stages of setting or that presents a summary of the historical stages of women's emancipation;

THIRD PHASE
Promotion
- Carry a folding package with the title of the exhibition, a significant photos, chosen from among those exposed, which can adequately represent the theme, a brief presentation of exposure, the duration, the place, date and time of the inauguration, the times in which the exhibition will be open to the public and, if applicable, the price of the ticket, specifying the destination of the money raised (supported by associations for the protection of women, counseling, etc.)
- Preparing invitations to be allocated to local authorities (school principal, superintendent, mayor, etc.)
- Prepare a brief press release sent to the media and local newspapers;
- Prepare and distribute leaflets publicizing the event.

STEP FOUR

- Development and exhibition of a short speech presentation
- Illustration of the path and multimedia presentations
- Organization and management of refreshments at the opening end

Activity: drawing and speaking.
Goal: practising speaking in an EFL lower secondary class.
1) In order to practise speaking, I asked students to draw something they wanted to share. They had to draw it on the board and explain why it was drawn. 2) After that, another student would come up and draw another object or person next to it.
3) After all the participants drew their objects, they would have to create a story based on the drawings on the board.
4) Students had the opportunity to share their stories with others and evaluate their own process with peer feedback.

They had the challenge to create a story with their drawings, which proved to be funny and at the same time quite beneficial for their skills. Besides that, they gained confidence while speaking to their peers and got to know more about their classmates’ personalities.

My students are about to begin a $20 boss challenge where they are given $20 each to start a successful business that makes more than $20 at the end. 1. They need to start by brainstorming - what are their passions/interests - what will be their business? who else has similar ideas to pool money resources. 2. What skills/resources do they need to be successful - how do they access these resources/skills. 3. Learn about those areas they do h=not have as their skills yet - e.g.. book keeping etc. 4. Write a mission statement - what is the point/purpose of their business. 5. Create their goods 6. Market/promote their goods 7. Sell their goods. 8. If profitable - which charity do they want to give their money to - and how worthy is this charity - research how much of the money goes to the people in need? As they move along this pathway - they will insert other steps they discover or find interesting along the way
