         <description><![CDATA[<div>Claim- This image that is produced is not a true hologram. &nbsp;<br><br>Evidence- We made a real image that was refracted by the light rays (from iPads) going through the plastic shape. The light rays made a 3D image that would be interrupted.<br><br>Reasoning- Holgrams are virtual images and can’t be interrupted. We produced a projection since it was refracted by the light rays and it was a real image. </div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>Claim: the image produced is not a real hologram<br><br>Evidence: the definition of a hologram is a three demensional image formed by the interference of light beams from a laser. In our lab we did not use any kind of lasers and the image that was although it looked three demensional it was not.<br>Reasoning: since the image produced was not made by lasers it was made from our iPad screen it could not have been a real hologram . The image we made came from our iPad screen and reflected off the cd case creating the effect of a hologram but was not.&nbsp;</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>The device we constructed does not make a hologram because the image created does not follow the description of an actual hologram. <br>During the lab we created a real image that was made by light being refracted through the plastic from the light rays produced from our ipads. These refracted light rays then overlapped each other that created a 3-Dimentional looking image that could be interupted. <br>The reasons we know this is not a hologram is because holograms must be virtual images and therefore cannot be interupted like our image could be. Unlike holograms, our image was easy to produce and was not on a flat surface (created with a plastic prism rather than film). Hence, we can conclude the  3-D image we created was a projection, made with refracting light rather than a hologram.</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>Claim- The image viewed isn’t a hologram because the image produced is a real image.<br>Evidence- A hologram produces a virtual image and uses a film to produce it. Our plastic holograms produce a real image which can be interrupted with our body to alter the light rays entering the hologram which is not a quality of a real hologram.<br>Reason- since the image is a real image and not a virtual image the hologram is a true one and the only way it could was if it produced a virtual image with a piece of film.<br><br></div>]]></description>

The light source reflects from the surface of the iPad which makes it two-dimensional. The image has to to be three-dimensional to be able to make it a real image.&nbsp;<br><br>Because the hologram made from the CD is a reflection, it makes the two-dimensional image three-dimensional. </div>]]></description>

Then the light rays produced an overlapping 3D reflection  that could be interrupted. <br><br>Reasoning: We know this image is not a hologram because in order for the image to be a hologram the image needs to be a virtual image that cannot be interrupted. It works via the property of reflection and creates a virtual image that appears to be in what is the middle of the pyramid. It would work better using mirrors as the walls of the pyramid.&nbsp;<br><br></div>]]></description>

It was a projection made by teh rays from the iPad. The Image could Ben effect and changed by a person hand. In an true hologram an image can not be touched or changed since it’s virtual.
