But when we use them to much, the adults stop us and we have to play with toys.

I think the poet included lines 17 through 20 because they show that if you play on electronics too much, it'll be weird to talk to one another. Summer is very important to me because there's no homework, I can play video games, I have an incredible birthday party, and there's no school. So when it's over, it really is hard for me to believe it's the first day of school.

This poem expresses the idea that the speaker loves summer. In this poem, I could visualize the speaker playing in the heat of the summer sun, but unfortunately, it's the first day of school.

I put something in a safe, but then I forgot the password. So when we were packing up to leave the hotel, I couldn't get what I put inside the safe.

I felt disappointed when I couldn't get my things from inside the safe, and I think the speaker felt the same exact way. It was my first year at Oakland, and it was the best. Mr Poulis loved video games, especially The Legend of Zelda. Though, he didn't tell us to study so he could play it. He just told us about it during our free time.

The poet titled this poem "Our Teacher Likes Minecraft" most likely because in the poem, the speaker describes that his/her teacher likes Minecraft and that the only problem is that they don't learn anything.
