Many people who aren't Christians also look ahead to Christmas by having an Advent calendar, but it might not have the same religious importance. Some Advent calendars might have a treat behind the door like a picture, or a chocolate.

Our Advent Calendar is a bit special. The treats it contains behind its doors are some challenges for you to learn all about podcasting in a nutshell.

But in a podcast , you can find a lot of podcasts . A podcast welcomes you to react with a like or with an emoji , and if you don't like what you are listening to , you can skip or pause or watch another episode. And another difference is : At the radio you can't change or edit , but in a podcast yes , you can record their episode or put subtitles.

The Italian version of Santa Claus represents an aspect of Italy’s healthier life-style than the U.S. version. Babbo Natale is thinner and a more regal looking version of Santa Claus. Both wear red cloaks with white trim, although originally, Babbo Natale wore green and Santa Claus has had most decidedly more cookies.

Ignacio: The Santa Llúcia Fair is a traditional festival celebrated in honor of Saint Lucia, a Christian saint revierrevered for her devotion, bravery and miracles, especially known for her link with light and protection of sight. This celebration takes place in several locations, but it is especially significant in some municipali municipalities in Catalonia, Spain, and in certain places in Honduras.

 Aurora: So tell me , why is it celebrated ? 

Ignacio: Good question 

Ignacio: The Santa lluya  Llúcia Fair has its roots in a religious festival dedicated to Saint Lucia, a Christian martyr who lived in the 3rd century in seriqius Syracuse (present-day Italy). She is known as the patron saint of the blind and of the eyes because, according to legend, she cured her mother's blindness. That is why she is a beloved figure in several Christian traditions. Her  day is celebrated every year on December 13. 

Aurora: Do you remember when we went there ? , 

Igancio: Yes , of course ! it was amazing 

Aurora: Also there is a lot of food there 

Aurora: It's very delicious , but we can find others things 

Ignacio: Religious processions: In many places, processions are organized organais in honor of Saint Lucia. People walk with images of the saint asking for blessings for the community. 

And Markets ! : In cities like Barcelona, ​​the fair has a commercial touch with stalls selling Christmas decorations, nativity figures and other traditional products.

Aurora: Cultural and festive events: There are concerts, folk dances and activities that highlight local culture. 

Ignacio y Aurora: and the thing we love :  Gastronomy: 

Igancio: You can also try typical foods from the region, both in Catalonia and in places like Honduras, including local dishes and traditional sweets. 

It's a mix of tradition, culture and Christmas spirit!

Ignacio - Hi Marco, so tell me, what do you do?

Aurora - Hi everyone, well, how can I say that? I dance a special dance: The Sufis.

Ignacio - And what is that? Explain to me.

Aurora - Well, Sufi dance, also known as the "dance of the whirling dervishes," can be described as a type of spiritual dance in which people spin around themselves. As they spin, they seek to enter a special state of concentration and connection with the divine. The repetitive movement helps them forget about the worries of the world and feel their spirit lifted, drawing closer to God. It's like a type of meditation in movement.

Ignacio - Oh, it sounds interesting!

Aurora - Yes, did you know that when we dance, we want to show a visual representation of the rotating cosmos and the cyclical nature of creation, and the eternal dance of the universe itself?

Ignacio - Are you kidding? Haha, it's just spectacular, this dance!

Aurora - Thank you! This dance isn’t for a performance; a lot of people say that, but then when I tell them what it really is, they can’t believe it.

Ignacio - It’s very important to know that, guys. Last but not least, do you want to say something else?
