2. How can you teach this value?

Teacher model the behavior; give examples and non-examples. ie. When I walk on the line, do I follow my class in a straight line? or do I walk next to a friend?

3. What are the expectations students are to follow in the environment?

Walking in a line (staying with class)

Keeping hands and feet to themselves

Follow teacher directions

2. I can teach this value by modeling what responsibility in each setting looks like. I can create a list of expectations for each setting with the students. I can address any behavior that didn't express responsibility by holding students accountable.

3. In the classroom by following directions and completing task at hand. During lunch, waiting your turn to go get lunch, cleaning up after yourself when finished eating. During recess playing well with others, picking up after yourself and lining up when class is called. On the bus students should sit in their assigned seat and buckle their seat belts.

In the classroom, students would demonstrate independence in utilizing and putting away materials after use. 

I can teach by having a structured class with locations for specific items/supplies. Model and have peers guide when support is required. 

Student expectations to follow would be to take materials, collect and appropriately secure the container and place safely in the assigned location without prompting/reminders. 

These expectations would carry over to the cafeteria.
