Sunrise themed and it shows the new positivity and beginnings

New beginnings for each grade level
- 9th new year, 10th settling into the routine, 11th year to college info but also like belonged, 12th college application, fast year
maybe a sunrise on the first end page and a sunset to close the book
Also i feel like we can combine rising up and this one because the themes are similar and maybe use eyes on the horizon as a header
I think we can combine the sunset idea of making it go from light to dark from the Rise up theme with this theme and Eyes on the Horizon because I feel like Eyes on the Horizon is more sunset themed

Instead of going about this negatively like about how the student body is unrepresented, we could base this off of the falcon rumble book and the Can you feel it book that's all about the new year, school spirit, and the strengths of BFHS

We can emphasize the different groups like AAPC club or BCC

A theme could be playing off of the walks to UNO as students, our daily lives, and how the experience as a student is at Franklin

Ties back to legacy, tradition, and school spirit
"Walk with us, share our journey, see our truth"
We can have someone walking throughout the whole book to symbolize our journey

I think this is a good idea and the book could have a walking path through the whole book where the start is at the school and the ending is like college for the senior section

i really like this cover, I think you could make it for ben by sourcing this type of picture from spirit day because unlike a football game the lighting is nice and everybody has a cohsesive outfit on.

This is the best idea that we have so far. rising up seems like more of a revolution theme and we aren't doing that. I also think that the horizon/sunrise/sunset theme could have some great colors. It also has the idea of looking to the future instead of worrying about the troubles of today.

I like this theme and feel like it could be put together with rising up and have a play on with it in the book like the sun rising. The pages getting brighter to darker is also a good idea with this too, or from a little bright at the beginning representing the sun starting to rise, to the brightest toward the middle, like the middle of the day and dark for night time or the sunset.

I feel like this theme does a good job of including something significant and unique to this year at Franklin while also making student voice a focal point of the yearbook. I also think that this theme would make transitioning between sections simple and easy.

it could be cool to have an actual picture taken at Franklin of a sunrise on the cover, then on the back cover, there could be a pic of a sunset from the same spot where the sunrise pic was taken (rather than using just art, we could use real pics)

I like this idea but i feel like it might be too grainy for the real cover so maybe as end pages to keep it more neat

I feel like this is a really great theme, the idea of spinning into all about spirit and all the good is a really good twist on a negative idea. you could also use other questions through out like can you see us during the sports section and will you miss us for senior section maybe

I feel like we can do something with the cover where it looks like stairs that someone is walking up until the reach the top (maybe where the title or some other detail could be idk or maybe someone doesn't have to walking it can just be stairs)

I think there is more potential with the theme of eyes on the horizon rather than rising up!! We could have a page spotlighting the new admin that could be like "all eyes on ...." because they are starting to create a new environment at bfhs and a lot of focus seems to be on them "making the school better", which represents the new horizons of franklin.

this theme really works with all sports and maybe clubs as well along with representing people and their cultures such as when culture clubs have plays or sports have games and clubs are doing different actions to help the community and show that their actions are meaningful and have an impact on the comunity

This seems really nice with working through the year and almost a walk through of the whole year in different grades or different peoples eyes and maybe it could focus on student perspectives more such as more quotes or just more being told through the students POV and less of a general description of events

I really like the idea for this one and Rising Up, but I think the cover idea for this one is better. We could probably merge them together. The title for Rising Up is more easily editable for the different sections of the book though.

corresponding the time of day to the passing year, from senior sunrise to midnight on the last day of school

cover can be a collage of various times of day from the same perspective
each section can be themed after different time of day/look of the horizon
if we play our cards right, the side of the book could end up looking like a gradient (specifically, a band of color on the side of each page)

section titles

eyes on the future - senior section - sunrise/sunset (end of an era, beginning of something new)
eyes on the ball - sports - night (bright floodlights, more illuminated than the student life theme)
eyes on us - student life (could pull some ideas from 'can you hear us' - evening (for parties and dances and games that go into the night, vaguely club aesthetic, possibly neon)
eyes on the world - clubs (this one is more of a stretch/could use some improvement) - morning, joy, soft colors, rosy dawn
eyes on the prize - academics - midday (bright future, sun is at the peak/peak of excellence)
eyes on me - people - end of day, not quite evening, perhaps more gray/cloudy/demure

I love the idea of a sunrise wrapping the front and back cover specifically from the football field. It could go with a lot of sections in the book like the sports section, senior sunrise, and anything in the beginning of the year. It also matched the theme of looking towards the horizon so it could really be incorporated into anything in the book. Maybe having a sunrise on the front and a sunset on the back could represent the start and then the end of the school year and it's like a farewell to all the seniors.

Firstly for the title we should capitalize the "US" as a small hint to the U.S presidential election, but keep the colors away from America themed since this is a school yearbook not a country one. Section Titles- Student life - Hear Our Pride Academics- Hear Us Learn Sports- Hear Us Roar People- Hear Our Story

If we're using "walk with us" as a way to talk about the hike to UNO I think a picture of a road that looks like it just goes on forever is a good representation on the cover. It emphasizes how long the walk is and maybe if we represented different seasons in it all at once, like we could make the trees look like fall and then have the sun shining in the corner but also have stuff representing winter and spring to show that we had to walk there no matter what the weather was.

I think the idea of making the theme about the walk to UNO is interesting as more students now have classes at UNO than the previous years, and because of this, much more people can relate to the theme. I feel like there should be a section that includes quotes from students that describe how they feel about the walk.

For title placement it could follow an arc of the sun, so at the beginning the titles are at the bottom left, inching towards the center top and then down to the bottom right.
