Warring States Period: 700-221 BCE

During this time there were 7 large states that were always in full-scale wars. They were always fighting because the dynasty's broke apart into 7 large states.

Confucianism and Daoism Developed: 500 BCE

Confucianism is a philosophy on how mankind should live in society at large. It was created by 3 men. Daoism promoted a peaceful society.

Legalism Developed: 250 BCE

Legalism was made by Han Feizi he believed that all humans are naturally evil. He developed strict laws and harsh punishments were necessary for people to do their duty.

Qin Dynasty: 221-210 BCE

During this time led a very strong dynasty. They also created a very famous architect called the Terracotta Warriors to protect and lead the emperor to heaven when he died. The Qin dynasty also won the war between the states which shows they are a strong dynasty. Qin said that his dynasty would rule forever but it ended shortly after he died.

Han Dynasty: 206 BCE-220 CE

During this time the Han dynasty government created schools. This dynasty ruled for over 400 years. Also, during this dynasty the population increased to 60 million. Since the population increased, the farmers had to grow more food.
