I envy him, for he is my rival,

Disparate emotions, two individuals splice;

Equity leads to strength,

And strength leads to length.

Two truths and a lie, is it a game or

is it just a name that is under disguise?

Truths are as true as lying your way out of jail,

Essentially they are lies. When a person asks:

“Tell me the truth” but is there really a truth?

“Don’t lie to me” but is that really possible?

He sees the man standing as still as a statue,

But she sees him him sitting from afar.

Is there really a truth, Or is it just parts of the truth

or is it just perspective from their angle?

Searching for a truth that’s not there is

as useful as pedaling on a bicycle down hill.

He is the white knight in shining armor, However

his birth sees him as a baby in a cradle. His friends

believe that he is living life as happily as can be but his

birth knows the other side of him at home. But does 

either side know both sides? There is only reflection off

a mirror and not a bridge to cross to both sides.

No full truths leads to wrong interpretations of life and

people’s decisions to make in life. What people hear from 

others can easily impact their life choices impacting their 

free will and playing with their emotions like a yo-yo. 

Truths and lies are like a pair of shoes. There are always 2 shoes

and there are always 2 sides. They scream for attention because if 

ignored they live lifelessly. But in the end;

There are always multiple twisted truths, Never the full truth.

Sometimes there is no true statement and only part of a true statement. Some statements are only more true than others. There will always be part of the truth that you are leaving out and other. Others will have a different perspective and will have a different part of the truth but you can never find the full and true answer.

Chosen social issue: Equal Rights

-A black man and white man can have different sentences in prison because of racism and bias.

-Men are expected to be more masculine in life and females are expected to be more feminine.

-A poor person may not have the privilege to have as good as an education as the ‘richer’ person.

Reason for writing: Equal rights is a serious issue plaguing our society because it greatly affects a large number of people all around the world. Take the fact that Equal rights also connects with racism, the split between rich and poor, sexism, and more. Many people are affected by not having equal rights in several different ways. Racism is one great example of equal rights because how it vastly affects many people. These incidents send the message that no matter what or who you are you will be affected by inequality.

Equity Of The World (2016)

Can there ever be world peace and equity?

Many people would think never 

In several life times.

Standing up, innocent before proven guilty.

Behind a wooden table with

a crowd behind, multicultural

people all gathered to discover

the outcome of the case. The

Crowd sitting like bunnies watching 

the fireworks shooting up in the sky.

But inside every single soul knows the

Outcome. The split between black and white

and the unbalance of the scale compares 

to an unbalance in equity.

He gives a man in need 50 dollars to spend.

She gives a man in need 20 dollars to spend.

The women feels sad because

she didn’t give him as much money as the man.

But she had only 20 dollars in total 

and the man had 100 dollars.

SITUATION:

When I was around 9 years old I was play fighting with my cousin on a rug and I slipped on the rug because I had my socks on and hit my wrist on a class cup on a table.

LESSON:

Don’t play around too much around things that can really hurt you. I ended up with stiches on my wrist.

HAIKU:

SITUATION: 

In 7th grade was at a track meet and I made it into qualifiers and tried really hard but at the championship I got lazy and didn’t try at it and got last place. Next year in 8th grade I did track again but this time I tried at all my track meets and ended up in 3rd and 1st place in the 1600/800.

LESSON: 

Always try your best if you want to improve. If you’re lazy then you won’t get anywhere in life. Reach for your goals and aim high.

SITUATION:

When I play video games people make me mad sometimes because of words they say to me. Sometimes I let it get to me and I get mad and I transfer it over to my parents and I sometimes get rude at them

LESSON:

Don’t others get to you and just ignore them. Chances are that they’ll make you toxic.

I believe in success.

I believe that life can be difficult at times.

I believe in the motivation of people’s actions.

I believe in people being discouraged.

But I believe anyone can do what they wish.

I have been in many difficult situations.

I have had many accomplishments in which I take pride in.

I have been scared of trying new things.

I have been courageous.

I have been through lots of success and failure.

I have seen people put down because they’re not as smart in a subject.

I have seen others help those in need.

I have seen those make put down others that are not smart.

I have seen people lose hope and let others discourage them.

I have seen people rise and be successful when put down.

I believe that anyone can be successful if they put in the work.

I believe that we should embrace our talents and excel in things we are good at.

But we should also try not to be afraid of trying new things.

I believe that people that feel unsuccessful can become successful.

I believe that everyone is equal and no one is smarter than another individual.

I believe that anyone can be successful and that everyone is smart.
