With some amount of money gathered over the previous year by doing odd jobs, he finds himself in the capital of South Korea, and his journey through life begins. Passions and skills discovered earlier on in life are utilised, and he finds himself in the art circles, lending his voice to fictional or otherwise characters, his body to the music. With a natural affinity for acting, dancing and gymnastics, opportunities arise for him to make it big, to build a name for himself, but he unfailingly chooses to remain one amongst many. Though the spotlight offers him a sense of calm he cannot deny, to be singled out only causes him discomfort, and if he can remain a backup dancer, a supporting role in any play, a voice in the background, that is what he will choose, where he will feel most at peace. Acting, dancing, his natural flexibility, everything is honed, and he ends up joining the travelling circus "Kkum", eventually managing to become one of its most prized performers. The stage name "Monsoon" is suggested, with his on-stage energy being undeniable and renowned, and he gratefully accepts it. More years pass him by, he gets to train newcomers, he gets to see them build their own skills, some surpass him, and he can only find joy in watching his unofficial students excel in the art form of their mutual choosing. The remnants of his cruel upbringing mostly linger in his muscle memory, his reactions to uncomfortable scenarios that may on occasion pop up in his life. Still, the boy who did not know love grew up eventually, the abusive household was escaped, and instead of repeating the mistakes of his ancestors, he chose the opposite path; Although he finds difficulty in forming genuine, deep bonds and connections with people, he always chooses to treat others with respect and kindness, and in the chance that the same sentiment is not returned to him, rather than acting out in anger or vengeance, he always chooses to walk away.
