I believe that Caesar was rightfully killed. He was a tyrant who had caused so many other people to die, and as we heard in the video, he had also bragged about how many people he had killed and enslaved. He was a power hungry dictator who just kept wanting more and more power overall which caused him to act even more irrationally over time. Assassination was pretty much all they could have done since he had the support of the people of Rome.

In my opinion, I think Caesar deserved to be rightfully killed in my opinion, this is because of his nature which he thinks he is always right and others are wrong which makes the conspirators like Brutus or Cassius angry and annoyed. Even the senators are against him since they want him to be prosecuted but Caesar does not want that, he only wants superiority to others and eventually uncontrollably corrupt the Roman empire which the others think that the only way to put an end to his reign is to assassinate Caesar.

I believe that Caesar did deserve to be killed, because the amount of people's lives have been ruined because of him. And that if he would have became ruler a lot more innocent people would have to pay. But I also believe they could have gone about it differently in a way that maybe wasn't so in the open. If Caesar's death had caused an uproar they wouldn't be the main targets so easily.

I think Caesar deserved to be killed. Caesar never changed or took criticism well. He always wanted things done his way and always wanted to be right. Although he may have fought for his position as dictator he just took advantage of the power given to him. The way he became dictator was when supposedly saving Rome from a civil war. But to save Rome he had to fight and kill to be able to be successful. Caesar always denied their accusations and was just filled with selfishness,he never looked out for anyone or thought how his actions would affect others. The citizens were simply intimidated by him but I mean who wouldn't? Someone just comes and takes the power of your community. I think that maybe the people could have attempted to express themselves with Caesar and explain how they felt hoping for him to change, but if we really look into it would have Caesar changed?. I think he would just look out for himself and his image rather than changing himself to be liked by everyone. Respect was no longer given to Caesar by the people because they learned to speak up and do something about how they felt. I think that Caesar did this to himself and deserved to be killed

I believe he did deserve to be killed. He may have been popular with his reforms for the lower class but at the end of the day he went against the Roman value of being a republic. He made himself a permanent dictator and toyed with the thought of bringing back the monarchy when he pulled the stunt with the crown. Even the noble Brutus, who was a good friend of Ceasar, thought he was doing the right thing for the republic even if it meant killing his best friend. He was a criminal, and did everything in his power to avoid prosecution, in direct contrast to Rome's belief of holding everyone accountable. He was so far gone and full of himself that the conspirators saw no other solution than to assassinate him.

I think that the people who killed Caesar had a good reason to want him dead. However I feel that they did not have to do it so brutality. Caesar was a dictator that did not take into account anyone's feelings on how Rome should be ran, even the people that live in Rome. Caesar should not have been a king in Rome because they had gotten rid of all kings and Romans liked not having a king. I feel that there could have been better ways to dethrone Caesar that either didn't involve killing him or killing him in a less brutal way. But overall I feel that it is good that Caesar did not have power for any longer because who knows what he could have done next.

I think Julius Caesars assassination was justified, Julius Caesar was gaining way too much power and he knew that. Making it basically impossible to take that power away from him by the rest of the Romans. He knew he was praised and basically seen as a God. This could have led to many bad situations for the Romans such as not being able to have an opinion in certain things and not being able to oppose his decisions. His ego was getting too big and he thought he was invincible, which could eventually make him into a dangerous and selfish ruler.

During his time he killed and enslaved thousands of innocent people and he then bragged about it. Also when he was in power he thought that he was a god and everything he did was right, he didn't value the opinions of other people and did what he see fit. But I think that in a way he did deserve to die because he was basically a Dictator to the people of Rome, like anything he said goes and no one had a say or was even able to argue with him. So after being crowned I don't believe that he would stop, if anything he would probably get worse which is what Brutus and all the other people involved in the murder also thought. So I do think that the conspirators thought that killing him was their only option.

I believe that Caesar deserved to be killed because the conspirators always mentioned how he abused his power. During Act II Brutus gives reasons as to why and says things like, he is hurting people's future by using his power against them. In the video, they also mention that Caesar was really only worried about his power and always saw himself as more powerful/worthy even when he was just a tyrant. By showing how he thought he was more powerful, it showed how he wouldn't make a good king as he would focus more on himself than the Romans. The people killed Caesar because they wanted to be free of his control and were tired of him thinking he was superior to them. Therefore, Caesar did deserve to be killed because he was a selfish person who wouldn't have been a good king.

I think Caesar did deserve to be killed. He was blinded by his power and took advantage of the fear that people had for him. Brutus killed him because he had Romes best interest. He saw how Caesar was and feared he would get worse and more controlling with time. With that said I think there was a better way to kill him that was not so brutal. I believe that if they took more time to actually plan it out the assassination would have been better.

I think that Caesar's death was deserved because overtime Caesar just got more powerful and I feel that he didn't actually know how to use his power for the greater good but to only flaunt it off and go to war. Even though in the beginning his actions were shown as good the more his popularity grew and got to his head to the point that he became inhuman with others. With this, his death was fully deserved for his selfish actions.

I think Caesar did deserve what happened. While he wasn't a terrible person his whole life, as he grew to power he took actions that were for his benifit- not the people of Rome. Which, as a willing leader of Rome, isn't something you can afford to do without reprocusion. He knew the risk he was taking by making himself a 'king', and he went with it anyway. While he was kind, at times, more often was he selfish. It didn't balance, and for the people he CHOSE to protect, that was enough to have him killed. While I personally wouldn't agree that people should be killed, given the time in history and the circumstances, him being killed was a logical solution, and I believe it was the lesser of the evils.
