Checking for understanding is done with 5e's although the 5E terminology is not used...the 5E is being done. The districts seems to be like the how where MMS seems more like to what depth. I actually like MMS better.

One key aspect that is on the district non-negotiables is Reading and Writing Workshops. As we have started doing conferencing with writing, it has really been a huge benefit for the students to get that feedback to be better.
