  • I enjoy the kids

  • The programme went smoothly with little complications ( except my kid getting scolded 5 times today)

  • My kid can improve by not screaming in my ear every second, the programme can improve by having more face mask

  • I enjoyed working and helping the kids out with their mathematics work and the mask painting. It was something I have never done before so it was a new experience for me that was very meaningful and fun.

  • The kid that I was assign to managed to complete the work that was required to do so I think that went well.

  • The time management and structure of today’s event could have been improved or better prepared since towards the end, everyone was rushing

    I enjoyed tutoring the kids the most because I felt that I was able to contribute in helping and giving back to the community.

    4/5. It was engaging for me because I was given the opportunity to help people who are in need. Tutoring kids for the first time was a great experience for me as I only helped with my little cousins and never strangers. I am very proud of the kids for learning and paying attention closely to me explaining. It means that they are determined and hardworking people, and I am happy to be able to provide help they need.

I enjoyed bonding with the kids that I helped to tutor. I liked how open they were when sharing about themselves to me.

    2. I think the face painting session went well. The kids were very focused with their tasks as it is something that they enjoy doing and given freedom to express their own creativity when designing the masks.

    3. I think as a first session it went well and ended quick so nothing much to be improved. As long as the kids enjoyed and comfortable with our presence, I am satisfied.

    4. 4/5. It was difficult to handle the kids I had to take care of at first, but after further observation with the mentors that they were familiar with, I was able to know how to help them better.

  • I enjoyed the face mask painting session the most today, where the kids opened up more and I got to know them better.

  • I think the students were really well behaved and listened to instructions, which made the session flow quite smoothly.

  • One thing that can be improved in the future would probably be to prepare more variety and supply of paint colours as I heard many students requesting for colours that were not available, or paint running out.

  • 4/5. Though very well behaved, the student I was tutoring was more soft spoken compared to his peers and it was quite hard to get to know him. However, after the face mask painting session, we got to chat more and I got to know more about him, making the session more enjoyable. I learnt to not be shy around them and ask interesting and easy questions to get to know the kids better!

    2) what went well was i managed to have conversations with the children.


    3) maybe have icebreakers for the kids before painting such as asking them to say their favourite colour.


    4) i rate it a 5. It challenged me to be a tutor which i am not familiar with.
